Virtually anything from a period 650/750 model will fit the head...fitment issues will arise with the mufflers...you may have to fabricate hangers for the rear portion of the exhaust system.

And a non-stock system might interfere w the center stand, if your bike has one. I guess that could be solved w homemade bracketing - if so hopefully the stand won't hang down too much, causing clearance issues w the ground particularly on sharp left turns.

They should...but as we have stated, you may have to fabricate different muffler hangers. Despite that KZ750R1 and KZ750L3 being very similar motorcycles, there are some idiosyncratic differences. For example, casesavers for an R1 will not fit L3 cases and vice versa. These differences may extend to how the mufflers attach...I don't know.

NO you will have some problems

,,,you will have longer mufflers and no place to hang/support them....if you make hangers form the top shock bolts that "hang" down to the muffler stock mounting brackets, out of some nice straps of aluminum 1/4" x 1" flat stock....then you can support the mufflers.....the head/exhaust ports will line up and are the same diameter (dbl check this with another member but 95 % sure)...the bends under the bike will be okay too...from the drivers foot pegs back is where stuff is gonna get funny and need fabbing....and may in the end look kinda dorky imo

why not hunt around for a nice used header

Edit:

I took another look at your bike..if it is the one in your avatar then you will be okay just a few hangers to fab...you really want pipes from an 82 dual shock gpz imo...but both may work fine
