kz 900 owners was created by kz1k
well i looked on z1 for rings for my 900 block. if i have a 1000 A2 bike with a 900 block how do i choose the parts by model on z1? there are more than 1 900 option.

You could have a 900 bored out to 1015, I ran into this on my bike, I would mic pistons to make sure, as far as i know if they are stock pistons 66mm works for 900 and 70mm works for 1015.

i talked to timebomb this evening. he had me measure my piston skirt. it came out to 2 9/16". he stated that was the 66mm piston. i will have my cylinders and pistons measured monday. thanks for the input.

since i have the 1000 manual and a 900 block, my cylinder and piston measurments in the book are diff than what i will need to show the machinest. would anyone be willing to fax me a couple pages with photos and required measurements? craig...aka tri....where you at?...lol

Why do you have a 900 block? I thought I had followed most of your threads so I must have missed something. Didn't the bike come with the Kz1000 block?

i can scan the pages but they are the exact same as the ones we were reading from the two different manuals on the phone the only difference in the pages is the small (sections) like that...whee the mm of the bore and piston is written.....do you need that

KZR file base has the complete Z1 (903cc) FSM....

With the Z1, KZ900 & 77-18 Kz1000's, 95% the same pending model and displacements.... Covers different size of carbies as well... Worth having in your literature for knowledge... ;)
