I have a94 kz1000 police with wiseco 10.5-1 pistons APE .436 cams and heavy duty studs This spring I had 2 cam bearning cap bolts breakoff on front right cap and the bearning can out of the housing now i can't keep the bottom bearing in the head keep coming out of head after about 5mins. Is there a cheap and easy fix beside a new/used head or welding up the fit and line boring it?

sorry but a bit confused, are you saying you heli-coiled the broken bolts, and now having a problem with cam bearings staying under the camshaft?

it sounds like he broke them and just left it that way to me.
you need to remove the broken bolts and install new one's or it will never stay in there.
you most likely need new cam bearings now as well.

someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.
