I have just recently bought a 78 kz 1000. I have always wanted one. It does burn some oil so I know it needs a valve job. I would like to pull the engine and have a 1075 kit installed the head redone maybe some cams. Any suggestions on where to take the motor? I live in maryland I would perfer being able to drop it off and pick it up. Am willing to travel but not 600 miles if I dont have to.I want a repituable shop want the bike to be rideable daily.
Thanks in advance.

You will most likely be taking it to Larry at Cavanaugh Racing Heads

He's in PA, probably not to far a drive from you

While I'd be very happy to build your engine, I'd feel extremely guilty if I didn't mention DG Fisher to you. He's in Maryland also.

Holler if you need further assistance or have questions. NOTE that if I'm porting a head, I don't hear the telephone ringing. Email is always heard though...

Umm Larry, that would be dgfischer (Daniel), not DJ. Not the first time they got mixed up.
