Hello people. I'm just curious but is there a high need for 6 speed transmission or/and hydraulic clutch for any KZ/GPz/ZR motorcycles?

I'm sure anybody with 650 cc or higher would like to have another gear.

As for hydraulic clutch retrofit, who makes the best one for KZ/GPZ/ZR 750?

Just curious here. Are you proposing to make a transmission with 6 gears for the 650/750 and 900/1000 bikes?

There is already a six speed that will fit the 650/750 motors, the KZ/GPz 550 transmission.

Most people seem to use the GPz900 or Zx9 hydraulic clutch to convert.

86-90 I think (my notes are on my dead laptop) zx600 transmissions will work (they are the same as the kz550)

The bearings on the input/output shaft of the zx750 are the same as the other bikes so I believe (but am not 100% sure) the zx750 transmission will swap in as well, and it has gearing significantly different (lower if I remember correctly) from the zx600/kz550.

bought it because I was told it would never run again...I like to prove people wrong.
