Oil Pressure Fitting. was created by kimsmith4807
My KZ1000-K1 came with a Derale oil cooler. I have removed the cooler and now have to deal with the two barbed fittings on the oil pressure fitting. Is this fitting an aftermarket piece that is required for use with the cooler or is it factory? It doesn't look like the one in the parts diagram. If it is factory, do I simply plug the holes where the barb fittings are?

Answered my own post but I had to buy the factory fitting to do it though. The factory fitting is similiar in style to the aftermarket one but has a passage between the two ports, allowing oil to flow up to the oil pressure switch, through the fitting and continuing on to the top end. When I get the motor back from PSP I will have a pressure fitting that is suited for use with an oil cooler that someone could have if interested.

Do you have both pieces for the oil cooler connections? If so shoot a PM to me.
