i wonder if you could get a thin piece of wire under the rubber fedthrough both sides like we take old style car and truck windows out with ,any glass guys on site?

Besides, the only m/c I have for this thing is the original one that was on the bike for the ten-plus years it sat outside. It is NOT a pretty sight!:ohmy:

I checked mine out ater removing it and it didn't look like the pieces would separate. So what's your secret?
