stock sprockets for '79 KZ1000

Found out the sprockets are wearing pretty bad on the front and rear and a tooth is broke off, so I was wondering what the stock teeth are cause i'm not sure these are stock

Stock for that bike are 15/35. If you are going to replace the sprockets and chain, you would do your self a favor if you convert to a 530 chain/sprockets from the stock 630. You can keep the stock gear ratio and the chain will last longer and it will be quieter.

Some KZ1000's have 33 for stock rear.
I know there is a thread about the 530 conversion.
But i need to buy a 5/8 offset 530.
I want a higher ratio 14/37 for 630. which is 2.64 to 1.
This is what I used in the past on a Z1900 14/37.
Fun, pulled the front wheel up in 3rd gear.
How should I figure the countershaft for 530 chain?
15 - 16 - 17 tooth? even 18 tooth?
I know diameters are smaller for 530. Smaller diameters create more heat. But this a short distance bike.
I need it for a street, drag bike with a stock motor.
Going to use a cone sprocket with outboard bearing.
I am using a Harley V-rod rear rim, they are nice 5.5 x 18. 180 tire. It takes a Sportster sprocket, so I can get any size rear.
Just wondering on the counter shaft.

A 15/35 630, would be the exact same ratio in a 530 setup 18/42. This would make the sprockets exactly the exact same size. The chain required would be 110 link in a 530. Z1E has all of this in stock or can get it very quickly.

I will definitely try this. Gonna make sure the bike is gonna run right before I do though.

I know he has offset sprockets but not sure about 5/8". I once bought one by accident and had to return it. I believe that it was only 3/8" offset.

These guys have the highest offset sprocket available and it is only 1/2". From what they say you cant go any farther, and it is only available in 630. If this subject is covered any further, you should start a new thread and we should not hijack this guys thread.
