Aftermarket goodies was created by 77_650B1
I was just wondering if it would be worth my while later this summer when i get bored, to get an aftermarket exhaust and jet kit for my 650. I'm already gonna have a heavy duty clutch and drive chain. Would I get much significant gains? Wuold I have to replace my ignition to get the most out of it? Any advice would be great.

A good 4-1 pipe (MAC, Kerker,V&H ect..)and pods( EMGO, K&N ect..) with properly rejetted carbs (dont get a jet kit) should give you a 10-15% increase in power. It would be a good idea to do a compression test, and check your valve clearences. An aftermarket ignition system(such as dyna or boyer) should help some too.
