Engine numbers. was created by kawasakifreak77
I got a Z1 engine with ZIE126528 on it.

I've got a line on a KZ1K engine with the number KZT00AE112581.

I'm wondering if the 1015cc jug from the KZ1K engine would fit the Z1 but first, I'm concerned if I could rob the clutch out of the KZ1K engine since my Z1 engine is missing it's clutch.

I know there's a 'J' motor & then the others but I'm not sure on the differences. I read most the J motor stuff isn't compatible with the other engines. So I come to the experts to make sure.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm confused what a 'KZ1K' motor is....is this short for a KZ1000 motor? Your motor VIN tells me it is a 1981 KZ1000 Police motor...one of the last of the 1015 series motors produced. The jugs should more or less fit (there might be some clearance issues which can be cleared out with a dremmel tool...but sometimes they drop right in the Z1 cases).
