I installed a Wiseco 720 kit on my 78 KC650C about two years ago. It's pretty simple, it is a top end rebuild but instead of re-installing the stock pistons and rings you install the bigger pistona and rings. The only thing you are going to need is a machine shop to bore and hone the cylinders for the bigger pistons. I noticed a HUGE increase in power with the Wiseco kit.
I had to raise the needle in the carbs one slot and installed 17.5 pilot jets after the big bore kit. The bike was running a little lean at cruise throttle and idle. Good luck.

Wiseco no longer makes the 720 kit, they now only offer the 700. We can not figure out why. We used to do a lot of those 720s. Never sold a single 700 kit until the 720 was discontinued.
