I have finally got an oil coller for my KZ1000. After I install it, how much oil do I add to the motor?

As mentioned depends on the size of your cooler installed...

Start the engine and let it warm up a little to get the oil flowing through the cooler... Shut her down, let the oil seep into the bottom crank case for a couple of minutes. As you would accomplish normally, top your oil off using your engine case window....

~ 1/2 - 3/4 quart, somewhere in there pending....
Repeat above process until window oil level to spec...

Just an added note.
remember to level the bike before, reading the level lines on the oil level window.
