cylinder stud question? was created by lewisj
This is a really silly question and I'm sure if I look around enough there is a thread on this somewhere, however time is valuable so here it is. I am installing APE cylinder studs. It has been so long since I removed the old ones and I can't remember if the end with the most threads goes into the case or is on top? Any other hints on installing the studs. Lube? Loc-tite? Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

If this is a KZ, then there are two different thread pitches. The courser one goes in the case. That should also be the longer one.

Thanks Jay! I didn't look close enough, now that I do it's obvious.
Thanks again
