Ok I know this is a stupid question but the bike is new to me so I'm curious where is the oil filter located on my 1981 kawasaki kz550 ltd I have no idea where it is on the bike sorry for the silly question
It uses a cartridge style filter. On the bottom side of the motor there are 2 large-ish bolts, one is the oil drain plug, the other holds a circular plate on. The plate holds the oil filter/cup/spring up there.
