question on piston rods was created by kz750ohio
I am putting my baby together. I had to get another crank because the original was below spec. The question I have, does the piston rods need to go in a certain order. The only thing I have found in the book is to match the rod markings. For example, make sure rods 1 & 2 have the same markings and 3 & 4 have the same markings so the weights will be the same.
Thanks,
Max

order wise, it really dosent matter, but you need to keep the caps on the rods they came from, the rods are honed to exact size and if you mix them the result is not goingto be pretty.
