1984 GPz 750 turbo cam question was created by 2006hhr
There is a set of these on ebay right now, just wondering what the specs are and if they are a good match fro my 650 motor. What concerns me the most is the fact that they have the tach drive gear, which i thought was deleted when they went to electronic tach. Link is here

turbo cams are usually on the small side since the motor is force fed

GPz 750 turbo cams are exactly the same as 650 cams, don't do it. Buy regular GPZ750 cams if you can.

Absolutely correct, 750 Turbo cams don't usually have the tach drive gear cut though.
Personally, I wouldn't run 83-85 GPz750 cams in a 650, they give up mid and low range on the 750's to get more power on top. And that would make a 650 a pain on the street.
I would use the KZ750 cams though.

Steell - what's the comparable difference between 650 and 750 Kz cams?

The specs are posted here somewhere, and I believe on www.750turbo.com also. I don't have them readily to hand though.
KZ750 cams have more lift and duration than 650 cams, but less than 83-85 GPz750 cams.
