Just look and see if you have a kick starter :laugh:
No kick starter means it's all a bolt on, with kick starter it's a little more involved.
The deal is, when Kawasaki upgraded the 650 motor to be the same as the 750 they deleted the kick starter because there was none on the 750's. So, kick starter equals roller cam chain, no kick starter means HyVo style cam chain (like the 750).
I think one model 650 lost the kick start for 81, while another model lost it in 82, or maybe all 650's lost it in 81, don't remember at the moment
Kick starter can be added though.

I believe the cranks will swap, but not sure if it will fit the 650.
