KZ1100 A2 valve cover bolt leak

Hi everybody, newbie here.
Oil is leaking from valve cover and valve cover bolt (under the bolt). I changed a valve cover gasket on my car before but never on my bike. I have been reading some topics and seems I need some tools for shims ???
Will I also have to change the cam plugs as well ?

Shim/shim tools are for measuring your valve clearances & swap shims if required... Not required for a new cover gasket only... Same time, while in the top end, check your clearances...

As for the cam end caps... Most of the OEM are rubber end caps, if hard, cracked, dried out probably not a bad idea to change but again not required....
