belt drive kz? was created by dnestell
would it be possible to convert a kz650 or kz1000 to belt drive using kz750 belt drive sprockets?

I think it might be possible, but it won't be easy.
The output shaft on the 83 belt drive has a different part number than the 82 chain drive 750, and the 83 axle is smaller than the KZ1000 axle (might be the same size as the 650 though), and the transmission and sprocket covers have different part numbers as well.
With the belt drive 750 being a one year model, the belt sprockets may be hard to find, plus the belt length may be different so you would have to find one of the correct length.
I believe that it would be a major undertaking
