csr1000 ignitor was created by kwak650
My csr1000 is having issues with the ignitor box,it seems to be shorted to ground internally.I have a dyna 111 box from a 650 just wondering is there anyway to wire it to my csr1000.Thanks

Just get another igniter on eBay. They are quite common. I have 4 spare units for mine. You can pick them up for anywhere between $25 and $50. The Dyna is a deferent system.

If you want a really good igniter, build one yourself from two GM modules. There is a design by one of our members here and it rocks.

I've been very lucky. All three that I have bought turned out good. Actually the failure rate on these units is very low, unless you mismatch a set of wrong aftermarket coils which are less than 2.2 Ohms. We have had one member here that did have a problem with one but it is a very rare problem.
