I read in the manual that I should have 7/16" of the side wedge shaft sticking out the side when the small spring and cap are removed. Well, I have 1/4". Should I be worried? The bike only has 12k miles on it. I would be surprised if any of the 3 tensioning pieces that contact the chain would be worn that much. Or the chain.
