Please teach me about engine compression.

it sounds to me like u have answered your own question. if u prefer the way your ltd rides u may as well build it the same way.
there should not be that big of a dif between the 1135 and the ltd. just a little more cam and compression, and cc's. But if that is enough to let the 1135 sit then why turn the ltd into the same thing?

Larry, have u found that u can run 10.25:1's with stock cams on reg. pump gas?

To me regular pump gas means the best octane I can get out of an ordinary gas station pump. If that means 93 octane then so be it....So it costs you another $1 or 2 to fill the tank. Beats buying race fuel :laugh:

mine runs fine on 91 . i have never tryed anything less.
