Tach gear block off plate/plug was created by chrispysaki
Anyone know where I can get one of those block off plates/plugs to cap off the hole in the head for the tach gear for a kz750?

I talked to Z1 and the guy there said the ones they stock are for the 1000 motors.

I saw this one on bike bandit, but there's no photo and I don't know if it's even the same thing I'm thinking of.

Thanks,
Chris

Yeah, it seems weird that they would be different. Do you know anything about the one at bike bandit?

They can be made out of the OEM tach drive itself. Remove the driven gear and plug the hole.

That is what I did. I removed the cable and filled the opening of the nut with silicone. No leaks.
