what to do?

i just had top end rebuilt.,new rings,valves,cam chain,ect.is there any advice on oil,or any other break in info.thanks

i just finished a rebuild on one of my bikes i used 15-40 rottella non synthetic and 6 oz's of lucas engine break-in lube. i usally try to run the engine myself for about 500 miles then drop the oil and filter retorque the head check all the motor mounts and check and adjust valve clearances,cam chain tension and ignition timing basiclly the same thing you would do on a major tune also redo the carb sync as well.

And for the first 500 miles, don't baby it, and avoid long periods of single continuous speed. Helps the rings seat.

After the first full overnight cool down, with engine cold, and before engine is cranked, would consider re-torquing the head. Doesn't hurt to repeat this cold head re-torque procedure more than once.

i would like to add, downshift at a little higher rpm's to stop signs and lights instead of coasting, that usually helps to seat the rings.
