Nico Bakker 4 into 1

Bought a Nico Bakker 4 into 1 from a member on here a year or so ago. I'd like to know more about this pipe. It's in really good shape.
The collector/can assembly is pretty heavy, but it appears to be one of a kind.
Each head pipe has a part number and what cylinder it's for stamped into it. Also, the collector/can assembly has a part number stamped into it.
I have not fitted it on a bike yet.
It appears to have never been fitted or if it was, for a very very short time. Gold aluminum can that has the "Nico Bakker Holland Research" tag still in perfect shape. The collector and head pipes are all finished in gloss black.
Any help is appreciated.
Contacted the people at Bakker and they said they did make the exhaust back in the late 70's/early 80's, but have no information anymore on them.
Thanks,
Tim

If it isn't his, he can tell whose it is. He will probably be able to tell you anything you need to know. Otherwise try the 'Kawasaki Merkclub Nederland' www.kawasakimerkclub.eu/ . While you're there, check out the specials. There are some great bikes there.

A while ago I saw a Bakker-framed Z1000 at the stand of the Dutch Kawasaki club at a bike show. IIRC it is owned by Willem Hendriks. He sells classic Kawasaki parts at www.classickawaparts.nl/

Wish I knew Dutch/Norwegian/etc.
I will get some pictures taken of it tonight and get them posted.

There's a 99.9% chance they'll speak English, after all: they're Dutch. Being a trading and transshipment nation the Dutch speak at least two, usually three or four languages. At least everyone I know does. Send 'm an email, and I am sure they will go out of their way to help.

I second that. You can also try google translator, this is off the homepage of the classic parts website (see below) and the translation is decent enough to read. If you really get stuck on a single significant paragraph about PM me.

We also specialize in providing excellent aftermarket parts

At this site you will find many items besides many interesting facts
on the various air-cooled Series Z
The parts shop is still updated daily.

This to misunderstandings when ordering components.
