I have a case and guts from a 78 650 could I use them to add a kick start to a 80 750e motor?

Sure, just build a 750 motor on top of a 650 transmission. As long as you have all the internals for the kick start. It will take some machining to install the 750 top end onto the 650 case though. it will be a lot of work and money just for a kick start.

It'l be much cheaper and about 2% of the work to change the starter clutch.

Just take the kickstart parts off the 650 and install them on the 750, all the provisions are there.

I have a 750 four bottom end with a kickstarter.
