try ebay. or get a manual adjuster and save the troubles. a spring from the hardware store might work but you wont know what tension spring is correct.

If you replace the spring and not the entire adjuster with a manual APE one, get a NEW OEM Kawasaki spring. You can get that threw Z1E. If you put the wrong tension spring in there you can do a lot of damage. Make sure that you replace both the springs in the tensioner. Those springs are critical and they go bad with age and heat.
