Surface rust on cylinders was created by T_Dub
Hey all, I recently got my cylinders bored, and today I was washing up my cases and cylinders. A little surface rust formed on my cylinder walls. Is this something I should be worried about? Doesn't look like anything major to me, I got some penetrating oil on them as soon as I noticed they were rusting.

Freshly bored cylinders will start rusting immediately just keep them coated with oil like you did and it should be good

Yeah I wont let it happen again. The little bit that did happen shouldn't be a problem then?
