I need help with Crank bearing Question

I have found a set of cases for my gpz 750 finally.
I have heard of a marck on the crank bearings. I'm not sure if I need to use the set of bearings in the cases or the bearings that came out of the other set of cases that the crank came out of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bump need some info on what the difference is between the bearings

In situations like this, you absolutely must measure clearances. You cannot trust crank markings or case markings.

I would start with a set of bearings that you can actualy identify the color codes on. Use them in the cases you intend to build up with and plastiguage the clearances.

Plastiguage is available at any autoparts store and is very inexpensive.

If you don't measure the clearances, you're rolling the dice.

Good point Larry. I guess I need to run down to the auto parts store. Is the marking info in the manual somewhere? Does the manual discuss the different markings?
