Exhaust header fit was created by n8miller
Noob: I just got a nice set of pipes (4 into 2) off of ebay to replace the old 4 to 1, but he header flanges are different sizes. So I got new collars hoping that would fix my problem, but I'm still short and the diameter of the collars/clamps are too wide.

What am I missing here?

Yes. You need the exhaust collars from an 80-83 KZ750-4 or 81-83 KZ650-CSR. Other models have the same collars as well & they're probably still available from the dealer. It wouldn't hurt to list what bike the pipes came from, but those appear to have the same welded-on flanges as the bikes mentioned.
