Hey everybody!!! i am new to the kz world and picked up a 1980 KZ 650 for $100 with title. starting a chopper build and wanted to know if there was any advice here for me, also any suggestions on obtaininga repair manual online? i just started the break down process.i am all ears and everything helps let me know.

so from what i am told a kz 650 engine is bullett proof, and its almost unbreakable any thoughts?

650's????? 900's 1000's are bullit proof!
As long as your not launching them at 9 grand with a 7" slick! On the 1/4 mile strip!
Buy a factory manual! Plain and Simple!
Don't waste $ on Haynes or Clymer!
Sell all your stock parts on ebay piece by piece!
Recoup some money for other stuff!
That's what I do.

i launch my little bike at 11,000 and its still bulletproof 5 years on the same engine and it runs mid 10's all day. can't kill it. and for a regular guy that doesn't do this for a living the o.e manual is the best way to go.
