How about a hydraulic clutch set-up? That would ease the pull considerably...I've been told. They can be had from a few places. An option maybe?

1980 LTD (changed over the years), 1979 LTD (being rebuilt), 1977 KZ turbo and various KZ's in various states of build. KLX110

Saw some auto clutches the other day and they look very nice. I believe 350 dollars or so.Also, the 93-96 KZ1100s ( I beleive) had a 4position adjustable clutch pull that would be much easier on a bum hand.Dont know if they will fit,but Im about to find out as I am going to order a clutch and brake pull and am going to se if I can get them to work on my 82. I hAve small hands and fingers and the clutch on mine is preposterous.will keep u posted.Good luck.bj

Bump.Sorry, not auto clutch but hydraulic clutch. Also in 1978 Honda built a 2 speed full auto tranny for their 450s.Not sure about other years or models but that may be another option for u.My wife had one and loved it,bj
