misfire #2 cold was created by jbw7300
ok got my self a misfire #2 cyl cold, wont run off choke untill really warm 10 to 15 min then cyl #2 will fire and bike will idle 1200 rpm with smooth throttle responce, so far done compression check 140,140,135,140
have good spark, rebuilt carbs installed 110 mains cleaned all passages cleaned pilots removed idle screws and cleaned them too, installed a mac 4 into 1 exhaust reinstalled the factory air box with k&n air filter and new rubbers, set the idle screws 2 turns out ,after warmed up played with idle mixture came up with 1 and 3/4 out ran fine , shut bike off next day same problem untill warmed up, any ideas?? going to try to sync them tomarrow thanks guys

Yeah, I have several ideas but first you need to figure out what is causing the misfire on #2... FIRST order of business is to determine if it is a carburetion or electrical problem since the compression is decent. Swap #2 plug with for #3. They come off the same coil. See if the problem moves to the #3 cylinder. If it does, then the problem is with your plug wire or plug cap... yeah... I see the new pink wires but it could be the wire or cap OR could be the plug itself.

ok double checked everything only thing left is the carbs, looks like i going to let you handle that, thanks
oh by the way those are red wires, who would put pink wires on there bike??:ohmy: geeessshhh that would just be wrong:P
