I got some bad news on my cylinder from machine shop. He said that one of the cylinders looked to be recessed lower than the others and might need to be milled. Best I could describe is the cylinder is lower than the other three and a small fingernail difference is felt. This would or could be prone to blown head gaskets and that makes sense.
I don't know what the amount of milling could be done and the machinist said he was not that familiar with this motor. He suggested that I look into getting it milled and said I would possible need a thicker head gasket.Anyone, have any suggestion on this subject? What can be milled and do we have a thicker head gasket available?
I have another cylinder but had some surface scars in one cylinder ; so it would need to be overbored and need new pistons.
Thank You
