I like Amsoil myself, but any good 20W50 will do.
Just make sure that it says "wet clutch compatible".

I like to run 10-40 in the cold weather and mix 20-50 and 10-40 in hot weather. If I run straight 20-50, it makes my clutch a little jerky to engage from neutral.

I think Rotella comes in 15-40 which would be good.

Mike since your in Vegas... similar HOT weather as here in Phoenix...

If staying with Dyno oil, 20-50w in the summers for sure especially if your not running an oil cooler. 10-40w the rest of the year.

If your switching over synthetic, 10-40w all year round.

As mentioned, insure it's quality oil designed for wet sump/clutch systems. The one I recently changed to is Mobil 1 4 T Full synthetic that is designed for wet clutch motorcycles... ;)

It's not cheap ~ $10 a quart but what I have found since switching over is my oil has darkened only slightly but nothing compared to dyno oil which would have been black by now ~ +500 miles.

I installed Liska timing components during my engine build and they are well known to be on the noisy side in operations... In using the Mobil 1, I have found these components are quieter due to added lubrication....

I have found no leaks due to switching over to synthetic... Same time, I had replaced every oil O-ring, seal and gasket in the engine...

All in all, just use quality oil... Don't go cheap in this matter and your KZ will love ya... ;)

I have been using Shell Rotella in my Eliminator an will also be using in my KZ this season. For my KZ in the colder months i use 10-40 and in the summer i use 20-50. I really notice that the clutch action and shifting is much better with 20-50 oil.

I run Castrol Activo 20W50 Synthetic Blend and am really happy with it. I can usually get it at Cycle Gear for around 6 bucks so it's not too bad price wise.
