kz550 oil sending unit

I have a dumb question the oil and fuel light is coming on at high revs. I cant for the life of me find the oil sending unit its a 1984 kz550 shaft drive.Thanks

Remove the oil pan, and you will see the sending unit.

Not familiar w/ your' bike, but would look under the ign, pick-up cover. (r/h side of crankshaft). G. PS, oil light at revs, is usually due to low oil level, and copious amounts of still thick oil accumulating in top end. before going wild, double check oil level, check after sitting for a couple minutes bike level, you can run level to the top of window safely. luck G
