Cool GPZ550/675 Racer

During my gpz data gathering, came across this.
ridden by Andrew Mauk / Team Momba to the 2009 AHRMA Vintage superbike middleweight championship with 8 straight wins.
Been told is sports a 675 kit, close to the 685cc class limit.
Does anybody know more/have better pics?
Looks like a lovely ride....

couldnt find anything about the newer gpz based project that took the championship last year though.

I did find some material about their first effort with a swap meet based 550LTD back in 2006 (i think), that one was covered indeed by "motorcyclist classic" mag.
couldnt find anything about the newer gpz based project that took the championship last year though.
Maybe that is what I'm remembering...but I'll still look tonight.

615 is the typical Wiseco kit. Momba II went beyond that.
Indeed, the post in gpz550.com mentions that they wanted to make the 676 kit available for sale. Wonder if they managed to bring it to porduction, that post is from 2 yrs ago.
A 80 hp "550" sounds super yummy.
for the time being i'll stick to my gpz750 racer build, but such a 550 is tempting too.
