Try putting the petcock in the PRI position to prime the carbs and see if that helps.

well the fuel line is connected to the nipple below the airfilters between carbs 2 and 3. The vacuum is on the nipple on carb #2. I replaced the lines and fuel filter. Is it possible I have air in my line?
Does the fuel filter happen to be clear? That way you can see that the fuel is reaching the carbs. It sounds like to didn't mess with anything... you just took off the tank to paint, so it's gotta be simple. Fuel filters are designed to flow fuel in a certain direction - but, should flow at least some (less) in the "wrong" direction - check that you have in on right. And air in the lines shouldn't be a problem...
Good luck, and don't give up!

well the fuel filter is brand new, I tried the old one also. fuel is definetly reaching the carb possibly a spark issue?
But you didn't mess with anything that would effect the spark... did you?

Not that I know of. I put drag bars on it so I relocated the gauges, removed thr gas gauge and removed the tripometer. Nothing that would stop it from starting I don't think.
Could the "kill switch" be grounding out, preventing it from starting?
Don't give up... it's something simple!
