Head gasket question was created by moneypit
Got my valve seat recut so time to put the head back on.
Can or should I reuse the head gasket that has 15 min. idle time back on or use my new Emgo one that came with my gasket kit from z1. I didnt like that ones quality so ordered the oem type also. Which is what i ran.

I reused a head gasket only once: it was brand new and installed during the rebuild, and ran maybe five hours. The head and cylinder were super clean and smooth. Then I had to tear the top end off to replace the base gasket that disintegrated (thanks Athena). I used copper spray sealer when I installed the head gasket the second time and it has been perfect for four years. If it is an OEM gasket with 15 minutes on it, I would reuse it but I would use copper sealer.

No guarantees of course. I definitely would retorque it after running it up full hot a couple of times.

I would re-use it, with sealer like said.
