The difference in finish makes me wonder if 2 different suppliers made them. I found the same to be true for some KZ650 parts. The original front axle collars on mt KZ650 had a very smooth finish (polished looking) where they had been turned on a lathe; a pair of NOS collars, same part number, had been turned in a fashion that left extremely coarse tool marks that made them look like hell. Ed
