Not quite sure how to explain what is happening, BUT a noise is coming from the the area that houses the clutch assembly. I seem to get a drop in RPM followed by a grabbing sound from the clutch area. A variety of problems have crossed my mind including, something wrong in the clutch area, poor timing, gas being interrupted somehow to cause the drop in RPM's(not sure about that one). I do not have a problem fixing most anything on my bike, but have not experienced anything like this. It does not stop me from riding, but at a stop light I think it feels like it will stall, then the sounds start from the clutch area. This is not a starter clutch problem as this was just recently replaced. Thanks for any help. Don

Well... sounds like you're tearing into that clutch area :P

Put the bike on its side stand (so the oil won't dump out), and pull the clutch cover off.

Good luck.

Original clutch on the bike? Might be time for a new one.
Previously owned bike? No idea of abuse like burn outs?
