My cylinder head is next in line to be ported, so it will be a couple more weeks before I get it back. That will give me plenty of time to get the pistons in and the cylinder back on. Can't wait to get it running.

Keeping the old timing components or going all brand new?
BTW, the LISKA components... Nice..........
You already go through and replace all the lower end gaskets and seals?
I'm with the other... Where's our damn pictures...

It's going to be stock cams for a while. I'm not running the normal MTC 10.5:1 pistons. I bought a set that Pit Stop sells that is made for stock or mild cams. The dome height is half that of the normal piston. In the future I may put in Web 118's.
As far as carbs, I'll be running VM28's that I bought off of Roy for a sweet price. Also going to use K&N air pods.
My estimate on total cost was around $1300. That was way low. I haven't added up everything, but I'm guessing closer to $2000. Those damn cam chain components are expensive!!!
In a previous thread I posted pics of the teardown. I'll take more when I start putting it back together.

Just had a cylinder head done by Pit-Stop. He seems to do nice work. The only downside is that he is in FLA. Shipping is a killer
Yep. Cost me $25 to ship the head.
