what is a supercrank?

Is it just 1300? I looked on the list and it seems there are quite a few things to do the crank. If added up it may be more than that?

mine was done a couple years ago,i wanna say it was less than $1400.00 with rods before tax not including shipping costs.they told me with the big center pin installed even with stock rods it could take 200 plus hp,but i went with the knife rods anyway just incase i got stupid as i told them! :woohoo:

just looked $772.00 for heavy supercrank,not including new rods.so once you add a set of knife rods price hasnt changed much. i was happy dealing with them,they didnt try selling me a lot of stuff i didnt want.in fact they tried talking me into using stock rods even

i have a couple of versions of the super crank myself it uses 16 tooth mk11 center pin and j rods and flywheels they are quite a bit stronger than standard z1 or kz stuff the most important thing to remember is the j rods are very close to.040" shorter than standard rods so you will have to mill your block .040" to get your deck heights back to where they should be.

I'm sending mine out tomorrow as well as the trans too. I have the frame back from powdercoaters and wow!!!!! I could't stop looking at it. The bearings are installed and the wiring harness refurbed. Going to go from the battery for the coils and change the antiquated fuse box to the newer style fuses. I am getting excited!!!! My money and are about to seriously part ways! The powdered frame wasn't bad but they want more to do the engine!!!!:blink: :blink: Twice as much!!!
Going to get bigger stainless valves and do some serious porting.

ok,, stupid question time:
when the crank is welded, how do they keep from damaging the bearings during the welding, I am thinking on the lines of a arc between the bearing and the pin during the welding process.

Is this the same if you are running a j/gpz head?

j block s and kz blocks are different heights,when your welding the crank, the pin that is being welded uses the flywheel that the pin is attached tois used as the path of ground so the amperage dosent travel thru the bearings.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI think this is the type of crank you had originally asked about...
