what is a supercrank?

from what i gather it is a cross between a mk2 and a j model.
what are the advantages? disadvantages other that money?
any other mods to make it work in a kz?

The only "supercrank" I've heard of is a Falicon Supercrank. It's a trademarked name for a crank that they have serviced in a specific way...balanced, welded, lightened, trued, polished, etc....

Stan Gardner just gave me a quote for his version of a super crank: $900.00 :woohoo: Unfortunately I don't have that kind of money for JUST the crank

Like hsa been mentioned already, its machine work that Falicon does. FWIW, I've had mine supercrank'd. Its expensive, but since I'm building a turbo project on a 30 year old motor, I spent the money to have the crank checked out. Turns out I had a couple of bad bearings and a damaged rod. They trued, welded, polished it all up and it looks really pretty.

All I need now is some of Scotty's transparent aluminum for my engine cases so everyone cas see it!

The staff we easy to deal with and were clear on what they could do and what I could expect. All in all, I was pleased.

started out that way ,now i think it will get a low compression 1327 topend and a load of spray put to it to replace the existing 1327 in my ltd street bomb!
