Remember my KZ Brothers, As a business man I hate hearing the words cheap and or great deal,... Cheaper is not always good. Get it done right the first time and you never have to do it again. Quality First.B)

Make sure u check the piston to head clearance after u get work done by Joe Hopper, or anyone for thay matter. Others here have had problems.People do make mistakes, so check thing yourself.

Look on the Web under Dynoman, they have a complete Menu on Kit sizes and whether you'll need sleeves or not. I would just go with new cams and buy everything as a set, to avoid problems. I have a 75 KZ900 and love the way it runs, I'm almost scared to do anything to it. The last one I had was way to hot and was'nt streetable after a while. Now I'm getting the itch for bigger this and that.Good Luck either way. B)

My buddy just went from stock 903 to 1015 with stock liners and a good used set of KZ1000 stock pistons... total cost - bore and hone including the pistons was $240. I think that's a pretty decent price.

Very decent, provided it passes a leakdown test and runs strong without any unusual noise or oil leaks. :cheer:

Good Fortune! :)

Those pistons were from a low mileage donor motor that went to a 1327 kit - bought and installed by a motorcycle speed shop.

We knew the guy selling them and the previous owner, otherwise we would have not gone the used route.

Breathed new life into a tired motor - cylinder PSI and leak down are now great.
