Tight clutch

Just got my bike back from the shop and rode it home fine. Next night it got really cold and snowed here in Brooklyn and has freezing out since. I went to start the bike and I couldn't pull the clutch lever in, it's really tight. I tried adjusting the cable where it goes into the lever with no difference. Could it have frozen somehow? Is there a different kind of adjustment that I need to make?

If the cable is froze a new one .But you need to check and see if the cable slides easy in its cover..Mine was hard to pull and thats what it was. Sometimes you can get some lube in the cable and loosen it.Just make sure the cable slides in and out easily. Theres an adjustment under the little cover on your sprocket cover but I doubt thats what it is.Do you keep your bike outside??

Perhaps start with some PB Blaster.

And the over-night-oil-funnel-drip method may also help.

yeah, it's outside.

It warmed up tonight considerably here in the bk and the bike started right up and the clutch is fine. Guess it was THAT cold
