well it's been a while since I,ve been on the site and miss all the great info. My stock kz 900 is tired and needs a rebuild.I want more power but I want a streetable bike as well, and no overheating.Could someone tell me if a 1015 kit would make a big difference, and is there a drop in cam upgrade I could do as well? I replaced my 26mm's with some bs34's but the motor don't have enough balls to make them come alive,I also upgraded to the gs1100 swingarm and gsxr tire.Any suggestions would be great and I appreciate all the help from everyone.
Also is there a difference from a stock oem 1015 compared to the wiseco or mtc?I know a guy that has low miles on the oem 1015,or would it even make much of a difference.

The 1015 kit from Wiseco is 10.25:1 where the oem pistons will keep you at 8.5:1 I have the 1015cc wiseco kit in my '77 kz1000 with the stock cams. I like it.

I would think that just refreshing things along with the 10:1+ compression upgrade will make a difference you will feel. I didn't do the 1015cc, but the 1075cc so I can't speak to the 1015cc directly, but my assumption is that with everything else stock the difference between the Wiseco 1015cc and 1075cc is minimal.
