Output shaft bearing replace? was created by polkat
On my 750-four, behind the front drive chain sprocket, there is a roller bearing that seems a little loose. Can I R and R that without splittling the case?
Thanks!

On the Kz900's,Kz1000 and 1100's the engine or countershaft sprocket will have to come off. After that a "Mission Cover"(I think the Japanese to English translation was supposed to say transmission cover)is removed allowing access to the output shaft seal.I'd imagine your 750 is quite similar.

I believe www.babbitsonline.com will show how to get to the seal and the part #

the case would have to be split so if your not sure about the bearing get a second opinion, that is a really tough bearing so unless the chain had been over tightened and ran that way for quite some time it's probably fine.
