Versah gaskets? was created by thompsonmx100
Has anyone had any experience with versah gaskets for the the 750 fours. I am looking at picking up a complete set for mine and was wondering if they were good or not.

My preferred brand too, in fact I've never used anything else except for a few I cut myself, never had any problems.

vesrah are fine but i prefer cometic or athena myself the valve seals in the athena kits seem to be built out of a more durable product.

I buy valve seals separately from Joe Hooper at Pit Stop Performance in Orlando He has Viton seals and they are the best and not very expensive.

So ya'll would recomend them, but would recommend different valve seals. What about the set that Z1 sells. Are their valve seals any better I would like to use some viton ones.

I'd stick with viton rubber in the future as that product is resistant to ethanol...and virtually all fuel in the US is 10% ethanol...

I have two sets of them. The head gaskets don't look that good. But all the other gaskets seem ok.

I bought an Athena set for my 750 twin: didnot come with valve seals at all, and the base gasket and oil pan gasket turned brittle and disintegrated at first full heat up. I had to tear the whole thing down to the rods again and do the rebuild over. Needless to say, I won't be using athena ever again. Maybe they sat too long and rotted, but the gasket material looked pliable when installing andthen hardened and fell apart. This was on all th paper type gaskets with green coloring. The head gasket was good quality and I am still running it.

Viton seals and O rings are the way to go.
