What sprocket covers fit a '78 KZ1000A? was created by Zoo Mob

I'm looking for a sprocket cover for my '78 KZ1000A, are there covers for other years, models that will fit this motor? The one that came with the bike is from a '79LTD and does not work.

73-78 900-1000 basically same

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAny KZ900/1000 from 1973 -1978 with the "EGG shaped clutch rod adjuster cover.

According to Kawasaki.com your cover interchanges with the following:

KZ1000-A1 (KZ1000) (1977)
KZ1000-A2 (KZ1000) (1978)
KZ1000-A2A (KZ1000) (1978)
KZ1000-B1 (KZ1000 LTD) (1977)
KZ1000-B2 (KZ1000 LTD) (1978)
KZ1000-C1 (Police 1000) (1978)
KZ1000-C1A (Police 1000) (1978)
KZ1000-D1 (Z1R) (1978)

1980 KZ650F1, Bought new out the door for $2,162.98!

I think the only difference from the 77-78 and the early ones is the foam noise suppressor on the inside. They all fit from 73-78.
